The OSCAL Foundation sent a letter to U.S. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick to thank the department and the National Institutes of Standards and Technology (NIST) for NIST’s critical role in developing and maintaining OSCAL. The letter highlights OSCAL’s role in supporting the federal government’s priorities of efficiency, transparency, and modernization in cybersecurity compliance and urged the Administration to continue to fund OSCAL and promote its broader adoption.
